Although my gals and I love to have makeup parties, we also love to have relaxation parties. We try to bring relaxing music, massage oils, go to someone’s house with a big jacuzzi (typically sharon’s house) and nice moisturizers. We don’t like to cheap out either. We usually get the best stuff. As a group of incredibly intelligent and picky women, we prefer to only use natural moisturizers and oils. After all we are queens and deserve the best. My husband continues to beg me to let him come to our “natural products” parties… but it’s much more enjoyable with sensually soft woman.

So I let down a friend today about getting her the work I promised. Oh well…. what’s done is done. I’m going to buy her a nice set of MAC makeup. She’ll forgive me after she sees a nice mesh of lipstick, mascara and eye liners. I am going to win her back… in a friend sort of way. Hey, getting in tiffs and forgetting… that’s what friends are for, right?

There are some tricks to get you to look thin besides running everyday. A nice trick is to wear the same color throughout your body. If you do this without another color interrupting, it will give a very slim effect. I tried it the other day and someone had asked if I had lost weight… not bad huh?

It’s good to be on your game and familiarize yourself with the latest fashion trends and pop stars. However, it is very important to create your own fashion. Use them as a guideline; don’t copy them. If you imitate a famous person’s makeup or dress like them, you will probably come off looking silly. Makeup is an art and is used to highlight your beauty. So, keep it real!

Slumber Party 2

Also, at the slumber parties, remember to bring PJ’s and your hair stylin’ products. Not only should you do each other’s makeup, you should try to style each other’s hair as well!!! This is a great way to help each other out and figure what’s best for their particular style of hair. Whether it be curly or straight, someone’s bound to come up with some great ideas. Remember, fashion is an art. Paint on each and have fun doing it!!!

Slumber Party

So we all went crazy and applied makeup on each other. It was a ton of fun. The girls and I were pysched to try out new products on each other. You see slumber parties are a great way to test out your cosmetics before you go into public and make a bad first impression. I strongly encourage people to do it.
